Worship—Tim Hadley

What is worship? In the Introduction of this the author writes:

It has often been said that worship is the highest occupation for any of us to be involved in. Mankind has been created for worship. The question is: what are we worshipping? Everyone worships something or someone, whether we realise it or not. For those of us who desire to follow the Lord Jesus, it ought to be one of the most important parts of our Christian life. There are two sides to worship, individual and collective. We hope to look at both in this study. The Bible tells us that God desires or is "seeking" worshipers. This tells us that this subject is extremely important to Him! It must be important to Him, because the subject of worship is found all through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. In this study we would like to dive into the Bible and see what it has to say about worshiping the Lord.

In a concise, easy-to-read way, the author explores the Bible on the subject of worship. This is a very timely book, one that is greatly needed in light of the developments that we now see coming into the Church under the guise of worship. Each chapter concludes with a set of Discussion Questions that can be used for personal use or for group study.
